After fitting my sub and amp last week, when i turn the head unit on there is a whistling coming from my amped speakers that goes louder and quieter depending on the rpm of my car.
i was told this is a bad earth so i made a fresh earth, stripped all paint off etc tpo ensure it was perfect yet it still does it 
Any ideas?

Have you got you power, RCA or speaker cables running down the same side of the car? Could be the problem I think.

evryone says this but it aint the prob in my car! it sounds like its from the alternator, try connecting the power lead to another car battery(parked next to you) and see if it does it then (if it happens with your engine on) if it stops then, then you know its interference through the power lead! u2u me n let me know how u get on
