u know the k&n air filters u can put in a standard box. do these make any difference

Yes, just dont expect big gains. Expect to notice a bit of throttle response. Expect that and you wont be disapointed!

are the k&n replacement panel filters the best? or is Green, for example, better?

Personally i'd say the Green was better, it's less oiled than the K&N.

would a cone inside an airbox be the same as a panel?

Pretty much so yes, you'd need a cold air feed though.

yeah got one

put car on a rollin road they guy said my cone was losing me power but when i asked if putting a heatsheild round it he just walked away

yeah but if its enclosed away from he hot engine air will it work like a panel
