How do you know that? If it has a service, pads and discs, shoes and cylinders, handbrake cables, plugs and leads, oil + filter, tyres, exhaust, springs and shockers. That would be more than £300?

It all depends on what work needs doing.

The labour rate is pretty expensive, other than that its not too bad. People always forget about the VAT that soon bumps up any bill.

doing the crank oil seal isnt difficult, especially when you are doing the timing belt.

unless it was at the gearbox end. that will have taken a while.

and engine flush is bad for your engine.

and i would question the labour time. i would have that lot done in 3.5 hours on my own without the aid of ramps etc...
