I think they would be the same size etc BUT wiring them up will be a pig of a job

i think power from the interior lamp positive from red and - direct to earth as the interior lamp switch is on negative ? hope I am right can some one confirm !!

The interior light only has power going to it when it is on (ie when a door is open). This is why its an ideal source for footwell lights if you only want them when the door is open but for the sunvisors it would work all that wel TBH
