Picked up Adam_D's white shell at the weekend.
Its got some rust, been patched up and exterior panels need straightening up but i cant complain. Its a throw away car. Had big plans of making it into something special like the Ka but decided due to the amount of work needed and the work its already seen i'll just do a few quick mods and get in on the road as a thrashing car.
Started stripping everthing out of the bay this eve so i can put it all back in tidied up.
Few quick questions -
Are the roof panels welded or bonded? - not had time to look this eve.
Also, who makes a good bolt in cage? I would prefer bolt in so i can swap it into another shell if needs be!
Plans for this one -
New bushes, brakes (braided lines through the car), suspension. Throw in a cage and some buckets and generally tidy it up.
Engine wise, its probably gona be a valver!
