Last sunday at well lane turbo centre in West Yorkshire a modified cavalier turbo went on the rollers.
It made 339bhp, and then cut out. When the RR operator tried to restart there was unburnt nitrous in the inlet, basically making a big bomb.
When he tried to restart the car there was a big fucking BANG as the nitrous and unburnt fuel in the inlet ignited. This blew every hole in the inlet manifold, and the airflow meter.
The force of the explosion also tore apart one of the fuel feeds to the nitrous system, because the operator left the ignition on after the explosion 50psi worth of fuel began to spray out the front of the car - this caught alight.

Serious shit is nitrous. If you ever use it on a rolling road. Make damn sure the operator knows what the hell they're doing

Seen a simiar thing on a Ka. Blew the inlet manifold to peices. Thats bad shit though. Bet the owner was gutted!

LOL that Cav Turbo reminds me of an episode of the Simpsons where they go to some monster truck demolition derby and one of the monster trucks has a fire breathing mouth - I think it's the one that squashes their car to pieces!
