somthing about a proper burn... funny you ask this cos i was only reading about it earlyer this morning 
if you go to the link about gaz'd car blowning up... on page 6 or 7 or the thread theres talk about moving his n20 jets into a better location...

what about just injectors in the trumpets before the butterflies... no other injectors

yes, it allows the fuel and air to travel further therefore better atomisation (better mix)
downside is that when you shut the throttle, the injectors spray fuel at the throttle plate (butterfly) and it will stall. Unless its a race spec car that isles stupidly high or has 4 lower injectors and the upper cut in at higher revs, its pointless.

There is a lot of fluid mechanics / maths to work out exactly where they need to be put though... There is always an optimum spot for them to sit for the required ammount of power and revs you are using.
