thinking of going with the lads for a week or so....

its a toss up between them 2 places for about the end of may!

Krakow, as long as this is the place in poland then i know people that have been there. They went about a year ago and loved it. They stayed in a travel lodge type thing, very basic and that was absolute dirt cheapness but nice.
they went out for a meal, 9 of them, ate, drank and the bill came to about £20.
then aparently beer is dirt cheap too

Glad you posted up about this actually as i was thinking of going but had forgotten about it!

haha quality! ill wait for adamB to reply as well....flights r only about £70 return from liverpool...need to sort out prices on accomodation tho...reckon it has good nightlife?

good, cheap, Raddison Hotel in Krakow centre (expensive! went with family) Place is really clean and the people are very nice.

most speak a bit of english, but they like it when you try a bit of polish iirc the local brewski is Okocim and thankyou is jinkeer, pronounced jin-queer.

In the town centre is like a big squarewith loads of cafes round the edge that become bars at night, you sit outside and they bring you drinks out and keep a tab. couple of clubs down the sidestreets, play fairly mainstreem stuff. I enjoyed it.
