My mate got his stock hatch saxo mapped at Jamsport last week, they had to wait for a load of vaux's to clear off tho My mate asked if any of them were any good, the guy replied mostly shiny crap with standard horsepower, apart from a red 1.6 16v corsa with 190bhp

It is an awesome car and engine. I think Broster should let me fit it in the Nova though

Also, the Nova weighs a fair bit less than the Corsa. I need to get a cage though

Lets do it Mark, at least I'll be allowed to keep the car if we co-own it

Soon mate soon.

Currently working for the cash to do it, but kinda spending it just as quick Should be working more after this week so

If that doesn't work out, I'll just wait for my next loan installment in about a month

Currently got about £500 saved up towards my cam / remap fund. Estimate I need about £800-£900 total. So not far off, and if it comes to it - my loan will pay the difference

Just wondering whether it's worth to uprate anything?

Cambelt was done around 56k I think - well cars now about 75k... So in theory it should be ok, and I'm assuming pulleys were done at the same time.

Wondering whether anything like ARP rod bolts would be needed or something for 7800 rpm limit?

Was talking to Dan on the forum about booking it in, but will have to wait till I have the funds, especially if I don't end up getting a discount for being member of PGAC / SSC.

Almost wonder whether it'd be cheaper to drive up to wayne direct than without discount at jamsport?

£450 + vat = around £530

I read about a guy called keir going direct to waynes and getting his car mapped for £420 inc vat on SSC.

£110 difference

Will have to see anyway. It's a bit away at the mo.

pulleys have to come off to change cams anyway paul, so you should replace the belt again as a matter of course
