I'm still ill, and following my short stint in hospital last week, i decided to book an appointment today to see if i was getting any better

so i'm on hold for 15 mins, and when i get through, i'm told that all the appointments are taken for this afternoon, so i ask if i can book one tomorrow, but apparently, i need to ring in the morning to book for tomorrow

so now im left having to try to blag another day off work, to ring the doctors on the off chance that i can get in

but hey, im not argueing, all the time im not at work, i dont have to pay tax cos im not being payed, so my money isnt being wasted on the NHS, which is still a huge joke

Ring ASAP in the morning... you'll be more lucky to get an appointment.. It's the same around here.. you can't book an appointment for the day after etc.. you have to ring for one on the day you ring if there is any left (if that makes any sense)

It's the same over here. The government targets are that you can see your doctor within two days, therefore the surgerys only take appointments for that day so it looks like you've seen your doctor within 24 hours on their records.
