TBH there is nothin in it upto around 70mph, the torque of the 2ltr comes into its own above that, handling wise the 106 will eat the corsa on a twisty bit of road. shes just about to buy a s/s 4-1 manifold for it so it will be even quicker then

Try and get a 4-2-1 mate, they run a lot better with them than 4-1... Theres stainless ones on ebay just now that are supposed to be amazing.. Only 150 quid aswell, al be investing in one soon a think..

kano - i actually think it is a 4-2-1, its a co called raceland that make them.

Rob - all it has is, a bmc carbon induction kit, piper de cat and magnex s/s system.

Raceland is 4-2-1, proven best bhp improvements on rallyes at leat, gave 6bhp increase over the janspeed item, and for less. Gonna get one of these myself.

Nice car!

The Raceland 4-2-1 manifold gave my TB'd 16v 106 Rallye excellent gains compared to the GMC one i had previously fitted.

I liked it so much i bought one for out other more std 16v Rallye and it feels loads better also.
