hi ive got a 1.2 corsa b 1996. for a while i have been hearing a 'squeak' when the i bring the clutch up or when i hit a bump. it sounds pretty rusty if that makes sense.
i had a bloke seal my backbox last week, and he put some exhaust paste further up the exhaust too, and i noticed that the noise dissapeared for a while.
but now when i go over speed bumps its squeakin when i go up and down and still when i hit the biting point. has ne1 had this before?and if so what could it be? could it be related to the exhaust or just a coincidence

he used paste on your exhaust?????
take it he was bodging it on???
and it could be a bracket mate it might not be fixed up ring as mine banged a lot till dan fixed it

nah i took it becuz i fitted the backbox dry so was blowing at the join, so he put some paste (i think) around it to seal it. but he walked up the car and put some further up. its not banging at all..just squeaking

ok well im takin it to the exhaust place tomo to see if they can see anythin thanks

yep they need to have a good tug and move about to see if it does if not then you know its something else
