it was asked in a 1 decimal question therefore would be done in the sum of 1.0 making it 18.5kg for 18.5 litres

So.... 1litre of water weights 1.01kilos
It was appropriate to put the extra decimal

Its not 1.01 kilos.
The site is wrong.
Density also changes with temperature.
I thought you were kidding on but you actually think you are right.

I could make a site up saying Rob_Lee is a twat, whether that is tru or not does not mean my site has the conclusive answer.

Sorry but if a university organisation feels its appropriate to put the RIGHT weight rather than rounding it down then i feel thats more than enough to warrent my answer correct

Wheres the university organisation.
We'll agree to disagree, seeing as you are the only person who thinks you are correct.

Depending who you ask, its either exactly 1kg or 1.000028kg.
Neither of which is remotely close to 1.01kg.
You may round to 5dp and say 1.00003 if you wish.
You may also round to 4dp and say 1.0000.
Rounding to 2dp would still give you 1.00, but with a larger margin of error than 4dp.
1.01 would give you the same margin as 1.00, but you would be 1/100kg of a kilogram out with your rounded measurement.
