i like the idea of it comming out the rear 3/4 panel infront of the wheel.... like out the actual body work. but you need a big power flame spitting beast to pull this off IMO

My mate has a side exit exhaust on his Corsa. Its a letter box style exhaust. When he told me what he was planning I thought it was going to be horrendous but it does actually look quite good.

Spits flames out too inbetween gear changes when he is giving it a bit of stick

How could side exit exhausts become illegal? Would force hundreds if not thousands of Cobra replica, Westfield, and such kit cars off the roads.

Better return my Dodge Viper then as it can't have passed the SVA.

I cant remember where I read about the side exits being a problem with the law...................cant be too wrong if others have also seen it!!! Point taken about std side exits...this was about modded cars iirc.

Side exit exhausts are more affected by the SVA as you have to make sure there aren't any sharp edges or corners for people to get caught on... it's more of a problem than a rear-exiting exhaust.

we had a lad in for an MOT with this a few weeks ago, the problem is not necessarily the noise but because our tester couldnt physically get the emissions probe into the exhaust
