i know my humble little corsa isn't any rocket ship, but it gets to 80mph quick enough and can still beat alot of crappy cars.
my mate always says how slow it is, and how his car is so much better, and can spin the wheels in 2nd, then he goes on to say "past 4k rpm its fcuking good" i know his car is shite slow, and its only as he hasn't driven for years
so i look up the performance for his 1.6 5dr mistibushi carmisa with roof rack, in white, that his grandad gave him
BHP = 89
0-60 = 12 secs
top speed 112mph
 fcuks me off as he swears its amazing and always insults my little shitter, i just never bother to argue or point out the facts, he not gonna understand speedo error or the fact my car will get to 40, 60, 80 100 quicker than his.

I'm with you here, I hate people who don't know about cars, mate in work saw a clio sport other day, I love those cars doesn't know anything about it, engine etc but he knows best  rrrggghhhhhhh

his car sounds sh1t!, i bet it can only spin in second in the snow!! Why dont you invite him to the Pod next time there is a decent meet there? get him to race someone like GAZ'd, looks totally standard! but tbh i bet most cars on here could beat that family wagon!
i know people like that tho, he will start complianing that his roof rack is causing major drag and slowing it down! any other day he could have ran a 10sec qtr mile!
