i disagree, mine runs nicely with one on and does save me a bit of fuel.
if you think about it an aesthmatic engine with one of these fitted does help a fair bit as when you boot it, its so close to the manifold that it can help release the vacuum created at higher revs if air flow isn't quick enough. although the brake servo vacuum pipe only accounts for about 5% of the airflow.
there is a black pipe that runs across the inlet manifold, with a no-return valve, fit it between this and where it taps into the inlet.
