Got my renewal from HIC 2day am pretty happy with quote but will phone around!

Ive found hic to be quite good but when i wanted to change my car on it to a pug gti they said they wanted an EXTRA £1k and i was like what!!!,
A whole year insured with admiral was far cheaper for the pug

HIC are really good at certain types of cars, relatively low powerd cars with lots of mods and slightly older cars, they are excellent on!
i renewed with them in november for my old corsa for 545quid! but they wouldnt even quote on the astra GSi, and i remember last year getting a quote for a standard C2 VTS and they wanted an extra 1400 quid on the 600 i had already paid!

I'm with HIC and like Sam says they are good on small engined cars but they wont even quote me for a C20XE even though I'm 21 with 4 years NCB

I've just changed to HIC from Elephant, have been impressed with them so far and gave me a better renewal including mods unlike elephant
