what Jap engine does'nt?


3S-GTE in the MR2 turbo and the Celica GT4

few simple but effective mods will see you running a safe 300bhp and will last like that untill the turbo gives up....

and even then you can have a spanking new CT20b hybrid for about £750


Kif had his MR2 and the engines gone, so cant be all that robust


there will always be cases which are an exception to the rule, most likely down to poor maintenance IMO.

change the oil every 3k and these engines will see in excess of 100,000miles without any issues at all providing you dont try to run a silly amount of boost through them...
