Hi can anyone tell me what this is and if there is any way of cleaning it off
Ive tried giving a good scrubbing
anyone else have this??
is there a way of taking the actual cover off and giving it a respray or a gd clean??

When me and my dad were looking at corsas to buy we came across one like that - the guy (a dealer) told us that it was a waxxy type stuff that vaux put on to protect the engine but parts of it rub off

it the residue from the cleaning stuff from when thay steam clean the engine and bay. If the engine is warm or hot the wax sticks and after a time it turns yellow. a good engine degreaser get rid of it or some washing up liquid in hot water and some elbow grease
