Are Wigan not already in europe as they were in the carling cup final wiv man u and man u will clearly get a champions league place?

usually works like that doesnt it!

realised yesterday aswel though, that is arsenal win the champions league and finish below 4th, they will still be in it, but this year, the fourth place team will not be entered!

That is soooo not fair on whoever finishes fourth, cos they will have been playing for that place all season.

Same as what happened last year isnt it.

And it just so happens that spurs are in 4th at the min!

Doubt Arsenal will win the Champ League though.

Kinda ironic that it's happened again though (a team not in contention in the league has progressed that far in europe)

Did UEFA (or FIFA) say that it was definately a 1 off last year letting Liverpool enter, or could it happen again ?

ye they have changed the rules now, and thats whats going to happen if they do win it, the fourth placed team will miss out.

That's a fucker, weird that it'd be their local rivals too (again, Liverpool/Everton last year obviously) If Spurs finish 4th

No wigan are not in Europe, a place doesnt go to the finalists it goes to an extra place in the league.

And Arsenal wont go into the Champs league if they win it, it was a one off last year with Liverpool as was no ruling to say otherwise, not they have changed that and it still goes to 4th place.
