Yes, or that Villa fella who is current top scorer in La Liga.

Money shouldnt be an issue but paying twice what we sold him for when he deliberatly waited it out makes it one. And their is also an issue with loyalty after doing that.

David Villa is very quick, and in the Premiership that would suit him but I really can't see him wanting to leave spain at the moment as Valencia are a reformed force after clearing out alot of Ranieri's crap signings.

he is strong aswell, so is suited to Prem football. It all does come down to if he wants to come, I think having Rafa and a few other from La Liga will certainly help though.

I'm also very confident Valencia will be in the Champions League in 06/07 and I think they have a better chance of going further.

Depends on who we sign! If we had an out and out goal scorer then we would be well through to the 1/4ers and well ahead of Utd in the League.

no, David Villa is more likely. Not sure who else Rafa has his eye on but sure he has a few on his list. Imagine Morientes and Cisse will make way aswell.

COSMO - YOU LOST

All this talk of Henry going!
Well at the end of the day yes that would be a huge loss, but im sure with the 50m there talking we can go shopping for some rather nice players.

Van persie makes my 1st team anyday. Along with fabregas, flamini, senderos, lehman

the rest have there good and bad games!

Barcelona don't need Henry unless Eto'o or Messi leaves.

Eto'o
Maxi Lopez
Giuly
Messi
Ronaldinho
Ezquerro

That's 6 forwards who have all signed new deals, Larsson is going to Helsinborg in the summer.

Rjikaard has stated he only wants to strengthen his full back and goalkeeping positions in the summer, and possibley a midfielder if Van Bommel goes to Bayern Munich (Lampard????).

50mil...how long will he have left on his contract in the summer? Its not long is it?

Van persie and fabregas look excellent. Jens Lehman is one of those keepers who on his day can be great, but is prone to having a howler every now and then. I dont think Arsenal have a bad side, just need to decent experienced players now to compliment the youngsters youve got, but thats not Arsenes style.

I still think Henry will go though. I would rather he stayed in the Prem with Arsenal as is amazing, but think Real or Barca beckons!

The thing with Spain is that its not always down to the managers, with the Presidents having a big say in things. If a big name like Henry comes up then Barca would be in for him, regardless who they have already.

mate, your bias opinion clouds your judgement sometimes, man utd have got 1 decent midfield player fit at the moment, come next year, when he can bring a few new players in.. look at there strikers, rooney, ruud, saha and rossi. defenders like rio, brown, heinze, nevillle, + evra silvestre vidic pique

its nott just your strikers, you have people like harry i was good once kewell, his favourites who always get a chance when you have a workhorse in Cisse on the bench cos his face dont fit. he persists with morientes the twat whos scored only a couple more goals then Riise, your manager is a twat when it comes to his favourites. youv'e got midfielders like sissoko and haman who havent scored that i can recall all season.

Im not talking about next season, I was talking this season. The only reason we havent won games is because we have missed so many of our chances. If we had an out and out scorer we would of finished the games off and won them...which would of put us ahead of Utd. Thats not a biased opinion, just what would of happened!

If Utd get some good midfielders then yeah they'll be looking excellent again, never doubted that or said otherwise. But its who Utd can get, Ballack would of been perfect, but he looks to be on his way to Chelski.

Kewell has been one of our best players since he has come back from injury, ask any Liverpool fan who has watched most the games. He has looked a totally different player, and thats the buzz going around Anfield at match days aswell.

Agree that he doesnt like Cisse and should give him a chance, something must be going on behind the scenes though IMO. And feel as much as he like Mori he will ship him out at the end.

As for Sissoko and Hamann, you have obviously not watched many Liverpool games. They both work so much for the team, Sissoko never stops running all game, and Hamann cuts 99% of balls out. Sissoko has turned himself into a favourite since he moved, and we have really missed him since he has been out.

but siissoko and haman have played football long enough to know, when your strikers aint doing the business you need to yourself, chelsea do it, lamps and cole score more than there fair share, i enjoy watching liverpool, when they get it right, its magic, you can tell whats gonna happen a good 15seconds before it does. fuk only knows who he'll buy in the close season, but he wants alot of money with nothing to show for it as yet this season winning the FA cup is a must for you

lampard and cole are attacking midfielders, Sissoko and Hamann sit infront of the back four, totally different types of players. It'll be like me saying Lampard and Cole dont tackle + block as much play as those two. Its players like Garcia and Kewell who need to score more from midfield (Gerrard does enough with 18 this season!).

Yeah he does foul, he is only 20 though and still needs to learn to stay on his feet instead of going to ground. He has got ALOT better than the beginning of the season, and IMO would be a starter each week for us.

If rafa gets his forward signing right in the summer then we'll be very dangerous next season. Our defence has been as good as Chelseas this season, its just our forwards and wide men who havent been on the ball.

Fowler anc Crouch 2 players who are both wank

fowler was good at man city as there was no one better than him.
Crouch - if he gets picked for england over rooney, owen, defoe, bent i will pull my haor put

i hate the way everyone picks him hoping he will score and he never does!

Lately he has been getting better but he often misses far too many chances

I would deffo take Crocuh to Germany, Bent & Defoe are much the same player but Bent has had the better season, Crouch gives us an option that no other team in the world has IMO

Anyone who says crouch is shi has obviously not watched him much this season. When we signed him I didnt have a clue why, and thought it was a waste of 7mil (sill think that was expensive but he is english!).

But he brings so much to a game other than being mahoosive. He brings a ball down really well and his link up play is excellent. With someone such as owen or defore running off him he can create alot of chances for them, if only he would just have a little more composure infront of goal himself. He can also come on for the last 10/15mins and change a game more than any other player simply because he is so different to anyone else in the squad and the defenders cant defend too well against his height.

Oh and Fowler is a natural finisher, probably one of the most natural in the English game. He just needed to get his fitness back as hadnt played 90mins since last May, and we will see the best from him before the end of the season.
