anyone on here doing one at vaux or at a similar manufacturer? since im packin in my a levels, ive been looking at one where i wud work in my local vaux garage, but every few months i wud go to luton to the vaux college for 2 weeks. Only on apprenticeship wage obviously, but its only like going to uni, but instead of gettin in debt and your pretty much garanteed a job at the end. Wud only be 3/4 years i think, and since its only desined for ppl with basic gcse's then theres the facility to be fast tracked and sped thru the system, which i asume i wud. Probably gunna focus on the electrical side, rather than the bodywork or mechanicin, as ive been told there is more of a shortage in the area and the industry is set to become a lot more electrically advanced in the future.
Ive already done sum work exp. in the garage i wanna go to and reli enjoyed it, just wondered if anyone cud tell me more, as the website is poor and i wont find out any more from my dads mate at vaux till tomorow+.

i did it, it was dead good, mainly go to nottingham for the college or blackburn, i thought the luton college was only for training courses though.

Goes to the local normal college every week, then goes to luton every 2 months i think.
He speacialises in diagnostics and electrics now and is on one hell of a wage!
