Well we all have certain products that we love to use and we do it in a certain order so lets hear yours!!

Mine is:

Hose down
Wash with halfords car shampoo
spray meguires wheel cleaner and crub wheels with a brush
hose down car

dry car fully with a aqua blade then a chamois

I then normally use meguires gold glass to wax the whole car
Then auto glym bumper care to do all the black trim bits
finish off with tyre shine on the wheels

Now I have heard about something called
P21S

What is it? Would i use it in place of the meguires gold class?

TBH i dont understand the difference between polish and wax etc, or is it the same?!

1) Drive car when required until very very dirty.

2) Get depressed about filth levels on exterior of car, but console myself with the facts that it's shiny underneath the dirt, and that it's spotless inside.

3) Continue with points 1 & 2 as above, until weather is warm enough, I am enthusiastic enough, and have little or nothing else better to do, in order to be in a position to actually waste several precious hours lovingly and carefully washing drying waxing and buffing every inch of the car until I am crippled with back and knee pain.

4) Become almost homicidal with rage approximately 48 hours after point 3 has taken place, on discovering that car is once again as dirty as it was during points 1 & 2.

1- get in car and start up

2 - drive to local kosovans car wash

3 - pay £8 to have my car looking all shiny and smelling nice

4 - with the remaining £2 go and get a double cheese burger

5 - devour

6 - drive home

The Kosovans round here don't do a good job any more.

Now (when I can be arsed), I just rinse the car, wash with some Turtlewax, and leave it to the elements to dry my car for me!

The difference normally between wax and polish is that wax will ass a protective layer and tries to hide scratches. Compared to polish whih will remove a very small layer of paint in order to remove fine scratches!

I use maguirs NXT wax, which is similar to the gold stuff, then do the P21S after!

Two layers of wax and it really brings out a good shine!!

My whole routine is long and stupid.

Once a month in summer, or once every two weeks in winter. I ---

Wash car, (two buckets of water- Wash mitt, not sponge)
Dry with Aqua blade thing
Use towels to dry, dont scratch like chamois leathers do!
i have some paint renovator for any small areas with scratches.
Then wax the car with meguirs nxt
Followed by P21S
Then have some glass polish for windows, and bumper care or vinyl and rubber care for black bits.

If i can be bothered hoover the inside out.

Every week, if not twice a week i was the car and dry it!

Every 6 months i polish the car!

Generally I start with my hair. I find that Head and Shoulders does the trick for me. I then move onto my arms using good quality shower gel, I then do my co.... Oh we're talking about cars.

I take my car to the Kosovans to clean it for me. Can't be arsed doing it myself at the moment.

depends on what state the car is in, normally hose it down, wash with bucket and wash mit using megs shampoo, chamois off, then use quick clay, nxt tech wax, then carnuba wax, also use metal polish on exhaust, megs wheel cleaner, and megs tyre shine. All of this will be due when corsa is finnished, also inside to hover as its covered in dust.
