i ride a hairdrier 50cc moped at the moment and someone told me that when i want to start driving my car i can use the 1 years NCB from the scooter onto car insurance... is this true??

Nope, but you can use the fact that you've had driving experience.

some companies offer to transfer the scooter no claims if you take out the car cover with them, not sure who this is with though. best speaking to your insurer

They might let you get it cheaper as people use their 'named driver' experience for cheaper insurance as they dont get no claims bonus.

I think Asda let you use your moped no claims, im not sure though.

U wont get to use a no claims bonus but my friend just recentley passed her driving test and she got a lower quote as she had use of the road for the past 3 years.

ye some companies let you use moped claims, but i always thjough it was just a ploy to get custom, and are infact no cheaper than anyone else.

If you ring up and ask, 'do you take moped no claims?' then the companies that say yes are probably just doing so to allow them to quote you at all, and are prob just quoting the same as anyone else!
