With the Sat Nav systems that have the routes stored on disc, do you have to have the disc in while you are using the sat nav? Or can it be stored on the system?

The Pioneer above needs the DVD to plan the route, but once it's planned you can remove as it stores the route in memory...

agree with Tim i love the AVIC X1R but too scared to put one in my car especially in london
