AS level is half I believe, and you might be able to.. all boils down to the requirements of the course really... I got into Uni with 2 A levels & 1 AS Level...

AS Level is half an A level. It can count towards getting into Uni but really depends where you want to go and what you want to do.

My Uni wanted AAB at A level and A at AS-Level to get in. (not including General Studies)

A/S level - Half an A Level
A2= Full A level

basically you get an A2 by completing the second year of the subject.

There are some courses at uni that'll accept GCSE's, not many though, actually im not sure.

Go to 6th form get a few A levels, apply for the course you want and where you want whilst you;re there, and if you have good GCSE's and good predicted mark, and have a good PS, you will get stupid offers for uni like 2 E's or 2 D's, or 300 ucas points.

for more info u2u me, cba to write up my 6thfrom/uni experience

Well my course requirements are 5 GCSE's pluss 2 passes at a level or A2 level of an appropiate science subject...

I'm confused to what an A2 level is.. and does that mean i need one A level and the A2 level in a science subject?

Most half decent places ask for at least 3 full A-Levels

A2 is just the new name for A Levels, means you did the second year of that subject at college and not just the half course (AS)
