I posted last week about how bad Barclays were well they have got worse.

Got a letter telling me if I go overdrawn automatic £30 will be taken. They can do this 3 times in one month so if I'm not carefull I can lose £90

Def changing banks now.

That's only because you don't have an overdraft set up and you are borrowing without permission.

If you have an arranged overdraft then you will only be charged interest on the loan. It's not rocket science.

Yes, I do worry about some peoples intelligence. If your taking money out from your account and its not authorised, then its stealing and the bank will charge you for it.

Arrange a overdraft, it takes all of 30 seconds on the telephone.

They did allow you to go overdrawn by a small amount without charge, but recently that all changed. My problem is the way they go about making a record profit. Call centers in India for example.

You just get the unarranged borrowing fine again. You also have to pay back even more money.

Why are people complaining about this though, it shouldn't be a problem. Most sensible people will have a £20 overdraft set up just incase they go a few pence or a couple of quid overdrawn to prevent these fines anyway. Makes sense to me at least. It also doesn't matter which bank you use, they will all fine you for 'stealing'.
