ive got 195/45/16 wheels on ma car

however i was considering getting 205/40/17

will this make a noticable impact on my acceleration?

It will impact, yes. Whether its noticable depends on whether you're picky.

these are the wheels i have on now. do i keep these and get a lower profile tyre or just go for some aftermarket 17's

I would keep them, not a bad looking wheel.

Good news is that if you do change you'll sell them easily.

You could go for 195/40/16 tyres also, thats what I have on my GSi.

Keep them, they are tasteful. Aftermarket ones will probably ruin the look of the car.

i got 17's instead of my 15's and they make the car look alot better in my opinion. but they have slowed the acceleration down no end. 16's prob would be the best option but i dont know anyone personally with 16's with a corsa lol

I've gone the opposite way from 17" Alessio to 16" Mazda, the Mazda ones are much lighter. Between 205/45/17 and 205/45/16 there is not much difference in tyre/wheel height

yep I agree with the others, keep those, as said by others I have 17's on my corsa and whilst they looks really nice and suit the looks of the car it just doesnt handle with them.

keep the 16's but if you want to go 17 then i would suggest go light weight racing wheels to minimise damage to acc
