Right today, I've been attempting to lower my car! Set up is GSi shocks and -35mm GMAX springs.
All started pretty well, rears were done pretty quick, fronts became huge problem! 18mm Deep Drop Spanner HELP! http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=267620
Eventually we had to give up today, with only the rear done - already is an improvement imo. This is what it looks like atm:

Pics arent amazing, but they were taken quickly as camera was dying, and light was wank!

Yeh I'd just cleaned it! is in pretty good nick for age and mileage (1994 - 127,750 miles!) Fiesta is class! Hardly anything on it is original anymore!

Yeh has taken me long enough to find shocks to lower it tbh! Had the springs for a couple of months!
Future Plans Are:
Unprimed Plastic Post 97 Bumpers (like mine but the newer shape)
Smoked DEPO Headlights
Debadge Grille
Smallish Backbox (no bigger than 4inch anyway)
Then not sure, engine will probably give way by then tbh - may stick another 1.2 in and a 5 speed box (for insurance I cant go any higher )

Read my spec in the garage Was a wanky Swing! Done a reasonable amount of very discreet things, but Im basically out to make it a higher spec Corsa with a few subtle things done to it tbh

Makes me laugh your posts. Granted your heading in the right direction but at the moment it still looks like most poverty spec corsas.

Good Stuff Rich
Front is ok. I did it a ghetto way, but it worked. Deep 1/2 inch socket. Then a 1/4 drive Ratchet and extention through the middle. Then gripped the deep socket and used the 1/4 inch ratchet to install.
Can't you pay someone with Air tools to build the fronts if ur that stuck? If you have seperate GSi shocks etc and ur just swapping etc, could be easier.
Let me know when ur next going to guildford etc. Might pull my finger out and come up or whatever.

Butler, yeh its a rep, but a bloody good one! Still got the 1.3 engine atm, but a 2.0 conversion is on the cards.
Carl - Sorry if you find it highly amusing - I just go down the subtle route of modifying, I'm not out to make a car thats that different, I'm fairly happy with it so
Phil - May have found a spanner finally - Hoping to finish it tomorrow AM. We're actually up in Guildford most weeks - I'll be in Pompey next weekend tho
