i need to be 100% sure the Z18 will mount using X16 mounts first really

i amy 90% sure now, but i dont wanna spend 5-600 quid on an engine and find it wont go in....

none yet, i have emailed "findanengine.co.uk" and "reconditionedengines.co.uk"

i will also try VPSC, as they had a 1.6 when i was looking for one

i'm expecting to have to pay a fair old amount for one, as its a fairly new engine, and there may not be many about yet

this is why i have the fallback plan of the X16

butler, me and broster discussed the merits of cossie power, and i came to the conclusion that it would be the wrong thing to do

i dont want a turbo really, i NEED throttle bodies

could do, but then it wont be so special, i reckon if i am the first to get a 1.8 smallblcok in a corsa, i'm certain to get a feature in PPC/T&RC/TV

the old astra 1.8 bottom ends not mate up to a 16xe head?

the only astra engines that would are the X18XE1, and Z18XE found in the mk4 and 5

Vaux do an exchange on a fried x16xe for a x18xe?

Prob about 1k though

I remember when they wanted 1800 for a feckin early type F15 with longer final..... sack that... found one in a breakers for 150 or something...

i could trade my X16 and X14 against one, and then id probably only pay 6 or 700 quid, then i'd be ripping it apart for pocketed pistons etc

prob better to get one in need of a rebuild, although, the new one might be an idea depending on price

350 bhp mi-turbo engine

this is 1.9 mi16 turbo charged engine for sale which produced 294bhp @1.1 bar of boost at the wheels when in the car (205). this engine is extensively modified so call for full spec,exaust,turbo,manifold,and dta p8 pro ecu everything to go straght into a 205.this engine is very powerful and i have the rolling road report to prove.
this engine has only done 4000 mile from being built and is in a1 condition, any questions please call.
