My friend says they are called corsas
And then the corsa came out and they stuck with same name

Anybody else know about this?

It's not just Spain. Opel released the Nova as the Corsa everywhere IIRC.

lol. yeh there calleed corsa a's (hence the corsa b that we know) because of the unfortunate translation of the name nova lol. they might have a point tho sometimes lol

Nova means "no go" in spanish, just noticed thats already been posted.

I always laugh when I see Mitsu Pajeros. Means 'wanker' in spanish, which is pretty apt for most 4x4 drivers
