Im in the darts team at work for some reason, because they are short of players. I've never played darts before is it as simple as throwing 3 darts at a board and working down from 501

No there is a lot more to it than that, for example if your opponent was on a 3 dart finish, and you were back on say 267, you hit treble 20 with your first dart (60) and single 19 with your second, where would you put your last dart in order to gain a better chance of winning the leg?

i play alot of casual darts but a bloke who works for my dad is a very good player and so is his son

its harder than u think
