I found the 206 gti to be a dissapointment when i drove one, thought it'd feel a lot quicker

Its very disceptive (IMO) floor it from about 4k in 5th rpm and the speedo flys round!

Ive just done the same swap, my VTS was nippier deffo, the 206 just seems to sedate to be a GTi, no sense of speed and doesnt handle as good, just my opinion, nice car but prefered my VTS by a mile, would still have it if it wasnt a nightmare with reliability. on the plus side the 206 interior is much nicer, the pedal thing is true also

it feels loads better built than saxo tbh...

It aint going to handle like a saxo as its bigger and heavyer etc... not twatted it the bends yet

glad your happy with it, i got the SP model with climate control, also owners before have put an mesh grill on and an ecosse rear wing. I cant believe how quiet it is as well, you floor it and cant hear nothing, dont suppose you know any good 206 GTi forums?

ye i had nose at them, so many things I need to get sorted first. Got to get me components and sub in this weekend after work if I have time, a ny ideas on what speakers fit in the doors?, as I have set of 5" rainbow sl 230 deluxe and a set of 6.5" Phoenix Gold octane ZR's, not sure which ones to put in, lol decisions
