better to have a reliable road going car IMHO than a shitty ford with a broken engine
p.s impressive times though lol

900bhp from a 4pot is pretty damn impressive i must say! almost as impressive as running 1300hp from an LS1 V8 rear drive

IMHO its far more impressive. Its got half the cylinders, 2/5ths of the capacity and its producing well more than half the power!

Looke the webbing on the main, a bit of macro mode would help though, still, the forced are mad.

[quote="MADRod"]Despite the devastation to the Block the crank is fine with no damage.
One end bearing had started to spin the others were Ok. The block was held together by the crank bearing bolts.
Now have to decide on new or used 200 block, any ideas & the engine will be re-built with a couple of small mods that Mark wants to try as a development idea. Slightly different new pistons will be fitted.

og and btw before this gets knocked as an old ford that falls apart
the block was the only item that was standard, it had done 25k miles running at 700bhp and then 900bhp, theres not many engines that could do that lillage and distance and run 200mph without somethign happning to it

Shame
Almost inevitable I suppose.
Did well to last as long as it did, and at least it's salvageable.
Incidentally Jimbo, your new avatar required a 999 call.
The Paramedics were very nice and have now stabilised my breathing and i'm feeling much better.
Unfortunately, I showed them your avatar and I have just called for a 2nd ambulance to deal with the two paramedics that helped me.
