i had some 17" crusader alloys on my corsa, then i had it lowered 30mm all round on spax suspention, 17's where to big then so replaced them with some 15" wolffrace twin blades
thinking i would need to do nothing else, but not evey time i have another person in the car you can hear it scraping, i've found the the edge of the arche is scraping down the wall of the tyre
if the tyre was abit thinner it would be ok, any suguestions was think of sanding the arche abit, anyone else had this problem?

17's go for a 195 width of tyre and you should be fine, 15's are probably an incorrect offset unless for some reason you have 15/55/205 tyres on there otherwise 15's fit without any mods

the 15" alloys are 195/45/15 so can't see why they rub

yes.... but what offset/ET are they?
Should be stamped on the inside of the alloy somewhere. ET 42 to 49 would prob be ok with 15's and lowered. My 1st corsa had 15's with ET45 and lowered about 70mm at the rear.... no scrubbing what so ever.
Have you removed the bolts from inside the arch? (they hold the arch on, but just bond it)
see http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=105757 for details
