If you like to really 'feel' your music then definately get one!
Basically, your comps are only a Mid woofer and a Tweeter, which is for high pitched sounds. For normal radio listening and CD's they are fine, it's all I have in my run about... But if you want some more power down the lower end of the sound scale a sub will work wonders...
Get a 10" or 12" and power it with a decent amp, make sure the box is secure and invest in a bit of sound deadening in the boot to prevent rattles and you'll have a nice set up...
