I bought a set of wheels last year from a well known company (wont say any names yet) which they delivered incorrectly to the invoice address and not the delivery address I gave. They organised for them to be collected and delivered correctly, but they were stolen by someone outside the delivery address as the driver let some random sign for them. So they were never actually delivered.

The matter was reported to the police and also to the delivery company and wheel company. Delivery company said I cant claim personally as it was the wheel companies account. But they are saying that they wont claim as they are saying they were delivered correctly and just stolen.

What would you do? I have threatened the wheel company that I'll take further legal action as I think Im in the right that they should either be claiming on my behalf or replacing the wheels.

I think they should replace the wheels mate as it wasn't your fault they got stolen. It was them that got the wrong address!
