ok guys need a bit help here,
i went to my local alloy dealer the other day to order my comp mos, and the guy started trying to put me off buying them saying that "the finish on them is utter shite",
just wondered if anyone on here or you know anyone that has a set that agrees with this statement, or any other problems that occur with the wheels,
really got my heart set on these but if the shite finish is true then looks like am back to square one again,
any help would be much appreciated

ive had white and silver ones and never had a problem with the finish there good wheels get them

iv heard that the paint/powder coat can bubble on them after a while

He is probably saying that as he doesnt make as much profit on them as he might do on other wheels. I sometimes point people in the direction of a product that I make more profit on. Only if they arent sure what they want though. If you phoned me up and said, i want this' I would sell it to you, I wouldnt tell you its shoot

Never heard of a problem, I'd choose compomotve over a hell of a lot of other makes.

cheers for the comments guys, jamie i was thinking that as well he did offer another set thought pro race 2s in white, but there just not the same,
i thought they would have been fine but the fact that im going to spend that much on them its allways stuck at back of my head what if there not, but im going to get them order thm up on saturday

Im thinking about getting Pro Race 2s but in Black.

If he has offered you another item, especially one thats a been more popular, would lead me to believe that he makes more money out of them

I have drooled over countless sets of MOs on various cars and have never heard of anyone having problems with them, and have never seen a fault on one.

When I have the cash, if I can't find the Racelines I want for my Escort, she'll be getting 5 or 6 spoke black MOs, and eventually my ZT will be getting silver or anthracite or black ones aswell.

They are the bollocks.

I've got white ones just now... there a few years old and paints fine... Brake dust stains them tho so you have to keep them clean and polished.

i had black ones on my nova and they were awesome. no problems with paint or anything.

Pro Race 2s are 5 spoke.

I cant think what Pro Race 1s look like, are they the multi spoke ones?
