I am from South Africa and I have a 1300cc Corsa pickup. I am really in need of a power increase but changing engines in this country is not advisable because of all the legalities that go with it. I am wanting to turbo charge this motor. The main question is that if I change the piston rings and get a 3mm gasket machined to fit between the block and the head will this work considering the max boost ill use is less than 1 bar please if any one could give me some advice on this.

Waht is the bore and stroke and the standard compression ratio, then I can work out the unswept and the new CR, and let you know.

the bore in (mm) is 75.0
the stroke is 73.4
and the compression ratio is 9,2:1
