its only how quickly they accelerate in the car, the rollers are free turning under the wheels, theres no reason to drop the clutch like that tho, as most power runs are done in 3rd, most bring the speed up slowly into 3rd

Yeah usually most in 4th or whatever gear runs a 1:1 ratio. Could be a dyno where they can calculate quater mile and 0-60 etc. Most dynos are a gradual build up on full throttle from low rpm to redline.

maybe they were tesing it for different things..I.e any probs on accleration, 0-60 etc etc
