i get between 3800 to 4000 rmp, then i get a flat spot, then a few seconds later the light comes on.
if i change gear as soon as i feel the flat spot then it doesnt come on. also as soon as i let off the accelerator it goes
what could be causeing this and how can i check it

the sensor which is on the inlet, i think.

Take it to a garage and get them to plug it in a Tech2 machine
