Got my brakes sorted (well will have this weekend)
A few of you know I’ve been running Lotus Elise S2 disks and Vecy V6 callipers on my Corsa valver for about a year now.
I’ve been happy to a extent with the brake set up, but peddle travel is a nightmare.
Not feeling firm till almost the end of the peddle travel, even my MOT man wasn’t happy with it (thank god he’s a friendly guy as I know he would of failed me if I was just joe blogs off the street)
Anyway if AP Calipers are okay for Elise then I’m sure they will be okay for a valver, so I made a wooden template of what I wanted and went round to a guy I know that makes spacers for MR2 Ferrari kits and asked if he could do my calliper mounts.
Got them off him 2night, can’t wait to fit them this weekend and give them a blast

What you think???

Don’t give to much attention to the state of the disc it was just one I hade in the garage to trial fit the callipers

just a thought, as they only 2 pots

is'nt the elise lighter, with less power

meaning it may not be the ideal set up for your car

dunno I'll tell you at the weekend - but 2 pots have to be better than one big f**k off pot in the vecy calipers

I’ll find out the kerb weight of a Elise 2morrow at work – even the 111s 143 bhp or the 160bhp Sport Elise use the same calliper so they must be up to it
