Ah the 80Gb will do , plus it takes USB hard drives so ill have 280Gb to use

i have sky in my living room, if i get a sky plus box can i get it in my bedroom, and watch different channels from downstairs at the same time?

yeah but you have to buy a multiroom subscription to do that - otherwise if you change channels it'll change the one in the living room 2!

Muti room is a tenner i think per month.
Means with a Sky+ box you have 3 receivers.
Watch a Channel in living room , watch channel in bedroom , and recorde 3rd channel in lounge.
Or watch channel in bedroom and record 2 different channels in living room

the rewinding and pause of live TV is cool

how would i get sky up stairs without a subscriptions. Not bothered about it changing channels down stairs as il be up stairs.

just run an ariel cable from the output up to your TV up stairs, you can also get a little box so you can change the channels from up stairs.

Unless you have a full Sky package, the Sky+ subscription is £10 extra aswell as the £10 for Multi-room. Or it used to be, anyway.
