got done last night for kicking a bin.....and swearing at my mate. not quite sure wat they said but they gave me two options, an £80 or something else like court and a record  . i cant remember fully but do i still get a criminal record

if you pay the fine you wont have a criminal record.
ps. i got done in Notts when the fine system was being tested and it was only £40

why did you kick a bin and swear at a mate in the first place?
makes me laugh when i see people do this type of thing.
the best is when they puch walls and immediatly regret it afterwards

why did i kick a bin? i was about to trip over it so i stumbled and kicked it... who doesnt swear at there mates for a laugh, i dont do it in front of the police to show off i didnt know they were there

I know people who have had these 80 fines mate...
your best bet really is to pay it.
one example is a friend got one, took it to court, and got off the 80 fine, but had to pay 55 costs, with 6 month conditional discharge
so basically he saved himself 25 for a lot of worry and if he does anything else, he'l get the rap for that plus the original 80 fine

Make sure you pay it before the time limit an all otherwise it will be transfered to your local court and it will go up to £120

I got a £60 fine years ago for drunk and disorderly...got kicked out a night club for my mate swearing  i was shouting outside etc, police came lifted me and threw me in the cells over night....
a few weeks later got the option to pay £60 fine or go to court, i payed the fine..
just pay it and learn

was funny, i tried to walk away and the police walked into my path and i just kept walking and bumped into him...well he stood in my way....
they put me in the car(old 3 door escort) and were talking to my mates, i put the seat forward and tried to do a runner they caught me...
one sat in the back with me after that..
at police station i wouldn't give my name stooopid....in cells, i shouted saying i wanted a phone call and a glass of water..it's my rights
police man came in about 5 in the morning and sat on my bunk, i thought shit, either kicked to fuck or bum fuck but he said i know your dad
i was only young........
