It was up getting a new exhaust manifold fitted (SBD typeC) and a remap. Didnt all go to plan.... the car got remapped but lost power & gained torque (exact figures i dont have)

its still up there now and i think they are having a look into whats going on with it.
Anyone want to buy a 2000 v plate 3dr Corsa with a 2.1 16v with a lot done to it ?
grrr... pics in garage

code: the dta bloke from dartfrd that lee got round said the map was terrible
how did they know tha?
Cant see them having a prob with mapping.
They have mapped a silly amount of cars, some serious big BHP Scoob/EVOs etc.
also were you happy with the first time it was done?

mmh, jsut my 2p worth, but usualy posts about peoples work quality normaly go out of control, more so on here as ALOT of users have no idea what a good map is.
Prob best to let WP know any map worries, but as said from what ive saw they know their mustard.

...and the car is still at WP being investigated.
I dint get it remapped because i was unhappy with the initial map. Purely re-mapped due to the new exhaust manifold that was fitted.
Its not a bitchin post.... just an update...
And i think i'd need my heeeeed seeing to if i did put it up for sale just now
Bradz - the first map felt quite good on track.... a few spots on light throttle but that's to be expected with cams and tb's
Ross - as i said fanny baws... not sure on exact details. Peak torque was up though

ak, i had so issues with the light throttle etc, but then i had it mapped on the road and the issues are all sorted now, i can drive it like a fanny round town and it has more power than when engine was standard......
