Been toying with the idea of transfering my insurance onto my saxo VTS for a while a drive that until it sale; as has tax, better MPG etc.
So rang up Direct line just to get a quote and they said i would need to have 2 years ncb for this car.
Strange because before i bought the 306 i was lookin at both 325i convertible BMW's and 328i Sport Coupe and had quotes from them on both cars. I know a saxo is a hot hatch but is nothing compaired a 200BHP rwd!!

Younger people tend to go for the Saxos, meaning they have more claims for them, meaning the price is more

tesco were the same with me with the nova gsi we had
wanted 2 years ncb for that but not for an import nissan pulsar 
tesco and direct line are the same company anyway

This is true Tesco Insurance and direct line are both part of RBS
