velcro... but that means you still have the strip there on your plate.. any other ideas ? cheers

What you wanting to do? Replace th standard plates with show plates? Surely you would just stick them on with Velcro for that. I stick my Max Power plates on with Blue Tac, though they are paper...

mine r on the bumper/boot not on the standard plates

i have velcro holding my standard plate on, then i remove it and there is my oil cooler, just have velcro on standard and velcro on show, then you can swap them over,

right basically what i have is a smal illegal number palte i use for shows etc or maybe driving as it actually looks nice event tho its illegal, then when on public roads i need to put the larger legal plate on over the top , so all i have to do is take that one off to reveal the smaller one underneth....

velcro would therefore have to be on the nice small plate and would look ugly, get me ?>

why dont you remove the small plate, stick some vecro onto your bumper, and some velcro onto both plates?

then just unstick the one and put the other on

i used suction cups drilled big plates and pusehd thru some cups and it works perfect
