Just been reading about the Meriva VXR (which I think is a stupid car). It says that they are going to be using the same 1.6 Turbo engine in the forthcoming Corsa VXR

Whether or not this is true I dont know but it'll be awesome if they do.

Only hope the 0-60 is a bit quicker than the Merivas 8 second effort.

I think 177bhp from a 1.6 turbo with a 6 speed box could be good fun in a Corsa D, just not sure on the shape of it at the moment
Be nice if it had an interior like this or the Astra VXRs

Thoughts?

Does anyone think the astra vxr engine would fit into the corsa D?, now that'd be a nice conversion

But that would be pointless IMO cos if they put the 1.6 Turbo in as I'm sure that would have plenty of tuneability and weigh less than the 2.0 turbo

No I mean the corsa D in general. You could buy the 1.2 /1.4 version etc... get a heap and do an engine conversion.

1.6 would be tunable but also you could also tune the vxr engine.

Then theres the thing of only putting so much power in a small FWD car as otherwise it'll just spin in every gear if its heavily tuned
