took my car the garage and theres no compression on number 4 (corsa 1.6 sport) he says it aint burnin oil so he doesnt think its the rings! but a month ago it had 16 new valves and all the head done after the cambelt went! grrr! so im thinkin stickin valves for some reason! anyone know how to cure these? im gonna put some injector cleaner in! then give it amn engine flush! anyone got any ideas? worth me changin the tappets on that cylinder b4 i take the head off?

i would start by finding out why theres no compression. my bet is the head gaskets gone between number 4 and atmosphere. its a common problem.

also explains why its not burning oil.

headgasket on small block xes tends to go between no 4 and water jacket!
