I used CIS, I did have corsa C alloys on my B, but the woman on the phone said it didn't matter if they were vauxhall or not, still alloys. I added them at a later date, but with no extra cost.
Also found with elephant.co.uk that you can tick that you have aftermarket alloys, and costs around £40 - £50 extra IIRC.

I'd say Adrian Flux all the way. But you're only 17 and they insure 19+ only. Best I found at 17 was Tesco's, but... they hate modifications. Either de-mod your car. Or insure as standard and risk it. And when you turn 19 swoop over to Adrian Flux.

Know that's not a quick answer to your problem but that's the way i'd do it for sure.

I found Tesco to be cheaper than CIS. But CIS are also good. Also try Zurich Insurance. They're not bad.
